Whether you are in it for the competition or just along for the day, there is something for everyone. On the course, expect a full round of golf, a few on course contests, and some friendly competition with team prizes and a couple of chances to win along the way. Pickleball brings a faster pace and plenty of energy, while the pool and yoga offer a more laid back way to spend the afternoon. As the day winds down, everyone will come together for a cocktail hour and dinner. We will wrap up with raffles, awards, and a short program, along with a chance to connect and share a few highlights from the day. All participants in the golf outing must wear a collared shirt and a mid-thigh length short or skirt or full-length pant. Shirts must be tucked in at all times. Jeans (designer or otherwise), denim clothing, t-shirts, tank tops, halters, short shorts, cut-offs, cargo shorts, cargo pants, jogging outfits or terry cloth shorts are not permitted at RVCC. Dress mock turtlenecks and turtlenecks are considered proper golf/ dining attire. Gentlemen are required to remove their hats in all Club dining rooms and bar areas. The dress code applies to anyone on the grounds or in the clubhouse at RVCC. The Raritan Valley Country Club clubhouse is a smoke-free environment. Smoking of cigarettes, cigars and pipes is banned within the Clubhouse and within ten feet of the Clubhouse. Smoking receptacles are located outside the Player’s Pub and on the outdoor Patio. Smoking continues to be permitted at the pool area. RVCC is a “spike-less” golf course and all players must wear appropriate soft spike golf shoes. Non golf shoes of any kind are not allowed on the golf course. Golf course and clubhouse Cell Phone Policy: As a courtesy to others, please set phone to non-audible mode and excuse yourself from dining and bar areas, the golf course, practice areas, tennis and pool areas before receiving or placing cellular calls.
