What have these "conversations" revealed so far?

A Visit with Dr. Fou - The Latest on Ad Fraud and More
Thursday, February 24 | 1:00 PM ET | Members Only

We've now witnessed a decade of ad fraud that has sapped ad revenue from good publishers and compressed their margins. Fake sites with fake content lured advertisers' digital budgets with low CPM prices and high clicks. It is now clear that bot activity enabled both, all along. Fraud detection tech has also been easily fooled by bots, either by tampering with their measurement or simply blocking their detection tags.

Publishers who can show advertisers that their ad inventory has been clean all along are winning back ad dollars, as advertisers are starting to realize ad tech's empty promises. Showing ads to real humans on real publishers' sites is the first step to marketing effectiveness. Dr. Fou will present his observations of the events of the past few years in digital marketing, and why he is optimistic for good publishers, from this point forward.

Dr. Augustine Fou
Ad Fraud Researcher, Marketing Science Consulting Group, Inc.
